When turning or changing lanes, the system monitors whether there are other vehicles, cyclists, or people next to your vehicle and alerts you to the danger with a flashing LED and an audible warning tone. Change your perspective and effectively prevent such dangerous situations.

Blind spot or lane change assistant for motorhomes

This system monitors the blind spot next to the vehicle and helps prevent accidents when turning or changing lanes. The side scan system detects cyclists, vehicles, or even people next to the vehicle and alerts you with an LED or an additional warning tone if someone is in the danger zone. The four side sensors monitor the area that you, as the driver, cannot see or can only see to a limited extent in the mirrors, and also help you if you “overlook” someone.

Double-sided use

The side warning devices can be mounted on the passenger side as a turning aid to detect people, cyclists, or vehicles in the blind spot, or on the driver’s side as a lane change assistant, which makes changing lanes easier, especially on highways, as vehicles directly next to the vehicle are detected and reported. This side scan system not only offers protection against accidents, but also allows you to drive your motorhome through cities or busy streets in a much more relaxed manner.

Activation via turn signal and brake circuit

The system is easy to retrofit in any vehicle. The sensors are activated via the turn signal and brake light or can also be permanently active. The Full Blind Zone System has been specially developed for vehicles with a 12-volt vehicle battery. Alternatively, the same system is available as the “Full Blind Zone System 24V” for truck-based motorhomes with a 24-volt battery.

The monitoring area can be adjusted as needed and according to the installation height using simple dip switches on the alarm box, allowing the system to be optimally mounted for the blind spot (passenger side) or lane change (driver side). There are 3 warning zones, for which the warning LED and alarm tone can be adjusted as needed:

Zone 1 : 0 cm – 50 cm
Zone 2 : 50 cm – 100 cm
Zone 3 : 100 cm – 200 cm

Installation as blind spot assistant – passenger side

The four sensors are mounted on the passenger side. One sensor monitors the area directly in front of the vehicle, which is particularly helpful at pedestrian crossings. Three additional sensors monitor the blind spot, which is difficult or impossible to see in the side mirrors. The sensors detect whether there are cyclists or objects such as side barriers directly next to your vehicle. The LED indicates potential hazards up to 2.00 meters away. If there is something in the main warning area (adjustable to 50 cm or 100 cm), this is also indicated by a warning tone.

Installation as lane change assistant – driver’s side

The four sensors are mounted on the driver’s side along the vehicle, allowing the rear sensors to detect vehicles passing by on multi-lane roads or vehicles at vehicle height, for example, and to signal this via the LED or an additional alarm tone. This makes it easier to maintain an overview, especially on busy roads, or to recognize whether there is enough space to pull out on the highway, especially when there is a lot of traffic.

XXL detection range + sensor installation

Four sensors are used to monitor the blind spot. The sensors cover an area from 0 cm to 200 cm next to the vehicle and can distinguish between up to 3 warning zones and thus 3 warning levels. Depending on the design of the vehicle, the sensors can be mounted at different heights and distances from each other. The sensors can be inserted directly into the plastic apron or side panel or mounted using additional metal brackets.
