The reversing system helps you park your motorhome safely. You can even set the system to indicate whether or not you have a bike rack mounted. The CanBus technology is activated via the reversing lights and therefore does not require any disruptive radio or WiFi signals. You are warned by a clearly visible LED bar and an audible alarm tone.

Reversing aid for motorhomes

This ParkWarn Bus-Light-4 reversing system from MobilWarn has been specially developed for motorhomes so that no cables need to be laid across the vehicle. Thanks to the latest CAN bus technology, the signal is transmitted absolutely reliably and without interference via the vehicle’s ground cable. No interference-prone radio or Wi-Fi signals are used, as the digital signal is transmitted directly to the driver’s cab via the ground cable of the reversing light. The reversing sensors are activated by the reverse light circuit when reverse gear is engaged, and the warning is clearly audible via the LED warning module with integrated sound warning directly in the cockpit of your motorhome.

For motorhomes with and without bike racks

As usual, the main warning zone can start at a distance of 30 cm from an obstacle. If a bike rack is mounted, the main warning zone is set to 70 cm, which means that obstacles are detected early even when the bike rack is folded out.

XXL detection range

Thanks to the 4 sensors and a detection range of up to 120 cm, objects behind your motorhome are detected perfectly. Depending on the vehicle design, you can mount and align the 4 sensors at the optimum height and distance using the included angle adapter rings.

Easy and ideal installation of the LED module

Since the LED module with sound only requires 12 volts and ground, it can be mounted anywhere on the vehicle cockpit. The LED module cable can be fed invisibly through one of the cracks in the dashboard and connected to any circuit. This gives you complete flexibility in positioning the LED display.

Installation of the sensors

All you need is the circuit for your reversing light, as this activates the reversing system. The four sensors are optimally positioned in the bumper or apron of your motorhome using the crown drill bit supplied, and the system is then ready for use. All components for the reversing sensors have protection class IP67, so that even the finished plug-in screw connections are protected against dust and water. The CanBus transmitter can also be mounted outside, e.g., behind the bumper.

Reversing aid even with a trailer

As simple as it is ingenious! Do you have a trailer hitch on your motorhome and regularly use a trailer? If so, we recommend one of the “MobilWarn ParkWarn systems for trailers” (Bus-Easy-2) as the ideal addition. If you equip your trailer with this system, you will continue to have a reversing aid when using your trailer. The ParkWarn reversing aids for trailers are 100% compatible with the sound receiver in your motorhome. Simply plug in the trailer connector to activate the trailer’s reversing warning system and deactivate the motorhome’s system. When you unhitch the trailer, the motorhome’s reversing aid will immediately start working again independently.

Function of CAN bus technology

This MobilWarn system uses the ground wire (negative wire), which is the “safest wire” in your motorhome. This is because no electrical device in your vehicle will work without a “ground.” When obstacles are detected, the CAN bus transmitter sends small digital signals via the ground wire of the reverse light. These signals are transmitted with absolute reliability, without interference and without delay. The signal can therefore be received by any ground cable in your vehicle. This gives you complete freedom in placing the LED module in your motorhome cockpit, as you can use any available 12-volt cable and ground cable to make the system work. This means that no extra cable needs to be laid across the vehicle, which in almost all motorhomes is very difficult to do from the rear to the dashboard.

Safe and reliable

CanBus transmission works absolutely safely and reliably in every type of vehicle and in every situation. Radio signals/Wi-Fi or Bluetooth can be temporarily disrupted, especially in cities, under power lines, or near strong transmitters, which means that no warning signal can be received and therefore cannot be displayed. This is precisely where CanBus technology works with absolute reliability, as signal transmission cannot be affected by such external sources of interference.
